I love the Todd Rundgren sampling, very well done in my opinion. I was watching a movie earlier today with Todd Rundgren's original song in it, and I instantly started thinking of this one.
I agree with nyukkaboom that this song doesn't really require much interpretation. Something along the lines of: You have drunken sex with someone you used to be in a relationship with, you know they will regret it when sober, but they'll be back the next time they get drunk.
