If any of you have seen the music video on youtube, you can see that it has nothing to do with a post-apocalyptic nuclear fallout scenerio. It's a metaphore for what mankind has done to the earth.

The person speaking the words feels alone because no one else seems to realize that what is going on is actually killing the planet. (atomic roads)

Land disapearing (turning into cities)

roses disapearing (symbolic for beauty being destroyed)

Whenever you listen to a song like this, you should always look at it from many perspectives, because it's usually not supposed to be taken litterally. (metaphores)

God is so beautiful

Oh yeah, I left out the explanation to "falling stars, exploding on the sea. God is beautiful"

This is just a beautiful way to observe nature. It can't possibly be refering to nuclear bombs (for one, you wouldn't "waste" nuclear bombs by exploding them in the ocean, the only people that would use nuclear bombs would target military bases, right?) My interpretation of it, is stars "exploding" (giving off light) onto our planet, or being reflected off of the surface of the water. I think this is the narrators view of how beautiful nature is....
