i love this song so much its one of my favorites.
i use to sing this song to a dear dear friend of mine who passed a few years back. and it wasn't until i heard it after his funeral that the meaning of this great song changed completely for me. i felt connected to it on a more personal level. to me, now, this song is talking about finally accepting the loss of a close friend or family member. always loving them for who they were but knowing that they are in a more beautiful peace world, and living on... for them... knowing that that is what they would want for you.
