Lyric discussion by Megatove

I get a real aborticidal message from this song. It's two framed in a relationship where the woman has become accidently pregnant.

The first verse is a man who is thinking of - or secretly already is - carrying on a liaison. Maybe he even wants to completely remove himself from his commited relationship. However, the woman reveals she's pregnant and this makes him reluctant.

The second verse is a mediation by the woman, explaining her situation, and what she expects of him. She's been entered by evil, not because the fetus is evil, but because the power it wields indirectly through her is.

The third verse is the ultimatum. Both parties are on the fence, and the situation is so explosive that one false move could push the other over the edge. It can be viewed as the man calling her threats and pregnancy a falicy or bluff. She tells him that regardless of wether she is pregnant or not the fall would not only kill the fetus but would most likely kill her as well.

The chorous compounds their feelings and the causticity inherit throughout.

hope I didn't bore anyone.
