This song is pretty much straight forward. "The mind is powerful, but it will not work, in reverse" pretty much describes the notion that your mind is only as good as it works. If you're an addict or under the influence of drugs (i.e. cocaine, as referenced from the first verse) obviously your thinking and state of mind is not going to reap good results.

Look at the song title. "Unholy thoughts" he's singing about the mental negativity that comes with drug use.

And judging from the first verse, it could also be taken from a different perspective. It could be that a) he's witnessing the behaviours of people doing cocaine and is feeling uncomfortable about being around them or b) he's a coke addict himself and he's being tempted by those around him.
