i'm thinking these lines might possibly be directed at Hayley Williams:
i'm thinking these lines might possibly be directed at Hayley Williams:
"
I, I
Lost, lost
All respect, admiration, and
Trust, trust
I was just, just
Following my heart"
&
"
I fall, fall
You were there, there
To expose it, what a smooth plan
I should've seen, seen
Through your disguise, surprise
You've found a replacement"
"
I, I
Lost, lost
All respect, admiration, and
Trust, trust

Following my heart"

because i read somewhere that Sherri and Hayley used to be friends but now, Sherri's respect for her is gone. and she was there the whole time and never exactly suspected what was going on, so it was quite a surprise.

It's definitely about her ex husband who cheated on her.

As far as the second verse, they met while she was in a relationship with someone who was also cheating. "you were there, there, to expose him, what a smooth plan."

"Sad" is probably directed at Hayley, but that's it. I doubt she was that important as a "friend" (don't make me laugh) to the Duprees.

i was thinking maybe with the "you were there to expose him" could also be to chad about jesse.
i heard a rumor (so obviously this could be all wrong) that jesse had cheated on her or something, because he thought she was cheating on him. so he did it out of revenge and this was when she was on tour with NFG, and so her relationship with chad could've been chad presenting himself to comfort her or whatever when her relationship with jesse ended.
it makes sense, if that's the case.
and if not, then... i dunno.
but it's a damn good song....

This song is about Hayley Williams, in a roundabout way, haha.
Can you maybe explain a little? Cause I think I see what you're getting at, but this is the only song that confuses me a little bit...
