I think the song is about a someone who is in love with another person who may be questioning things. The Narrator wants them to get past their hesitations, and just be with them, and see how happy they feel they could be together. Its frustrating to the narrator, and causes them to be lost in thought over whether this romantic idea they have for the subject will ever come to fruition. It frustrates the narrator to the point they almost feel it would be better to continue to live the dream of it, than waiting for this person to make it real. I think this is also confirmed by the idea that "I rollercoaster for you" showing the peaks and valleys between frustration and adulation for this person's indecision. Also "time out of mind must be heavenly" seems to make me feel they would love for there to be closure on this so they wouldn't keep going through these highs and lows of emotion. Ultimately they desperately love this person and their love for them is wild an passionate, and as many of us know, this almost always goes hand in hand with some sort of deep frustration if its not returned on the same level.
I totally agree with your interpretation, but I'm not too sure what you mean by "they." Are you referring to both singers as the narrator because the harmony is constant through out the song, as if they are singing to each other? Like they both feel the same way and never know it, only ruminate over it?
