It's about how the Government and the media use fear-mongery to control us. Keeping us up to date with the bad news to keep us fearful and how the public react to it. The hunting for witches is merely a metaphor, for we know witches don't exist and to believe so would be irrational. It's saying that terrorism is few and far between.
It's true as well, McDonalds and Tesco are certainly a greater threat to humanity.
Too right. Terrorists are no threat to the average man, they might as well be witches. It's just something they can make us focus on, while they fuck up everything around us.
