Look I'm working on about 15 miller lites right now but i still think this is a dude who has a girl that likes him but he can't get out of his own way. much like all of you he is over thinking everything. She is trying to just love him but he has to look deeper into everything she says or does." Even though your door is always open where do I begin may I please come in dear." Stop being a miserable depressed idiot and go to the girl that is trying to give her heart to you. Sorry but you don't refer to God as dear
@1flyersfan I think that you can shift who you are talking to. So, much of what you are saying about the relationship problem may be true, he may at other times in the song refer to God. & then verbatum kind of clinched when he's quoting Roger himself

It IS interesting that the posted lyrics mention of this little couplet. I guess it depends on the soundsystem. In my car I hear I'm Born Again. On my home system I hear something undecipherable.
But overall, this is a spiritual observation from an Englishman.
And it should be noted that Roger left the band 35 years ago never to return. Sounds like a philosophical/religious split t can't be resumed.
