I think this song is great, and definitely a good song to just let loose to.
To me the meaning is probably about a girl who obviously wants to "mess around", she's always met the good image, and had that goodie two shoes act...now she doesn't want to have that anymore. But, even though she's wanting to just break free and do her own thing, her boyfriend, or maybe just a clingy guy she's having a fling with isn't too thrilled about it.
