Eh... I like the song and all, it kicks ass, but I can't say I enjoy the lyrics. I'm not sure if Cypress Hill is endorsing murder or decrying it, but it seems to me like they're endorsing it. I mean, sure the kid that he kills was trying to steal his gun, but seriously? "Didn't have to blast him, but I did anyways, haha. Young punk had to pay." Every time I hear that, I just cringe inside for listening to the song. Don't get me wrong, I -love- Cypress Hill, but that's just terrible.

Maybe I'm wrong. I'd love to be wrong. Anyone know anything about this song?

@tyg13 it celebrates callous murder for sure ('didn't have to blast him but I did anyway') but makes the point that in gang life killing is a way of getting by, and that you can't judge him for it because you haven't had to go through what he has.

People who don't understand that environment can't understand how he can 'just' kill a man.
