As far as the lyrics go, I think it's pretty self explanatory. It's a fairly simple song, but a gorgeous one at that.
I love the metaphor in the first couple of lines. It's very striking. I think a lot of people can relate to this song; it's the common feeling of just wanting to be connected to someone. I love it.
