I agree with the idea of the guy talking about a girl who he's met and they've slept together and the night was incredible etc. and he's worried that in the morning things will change (like things so often do in the morning light)and he wants her to know that it doesn't matter what light it's in, he wants her to be with him. Perhaps the girl has a tendancy to run from commitments and he's saying that if she has to run, then he'll run with her.
Maybe it's like, if talking about it makes the girl scared then they'll just run and not talk about why they're running. He'll do what it takes to keep her with him...sort of?
