i dont think it was Satan talking the whole time...
Our worlds collide, now in
disguise,
You'll feel the Wrath Divine
Tears of woe fall from the sky
read the bible: Revelation 12:7 which says about a war in heaven and satan was cast into the earth... of course satan lost because of the Divine Wrath of God... take note of Revelation 12:12 which relates to the line " tears of woe fall from the sky"... meaning, as satan was cast into earth, God was saddened by this because satan will now reside on earth...
let's go back a few lines...
I will devise, from perfect skies
A dark and vengeful day
Faith and mercy gone astray
Revelation 12:12 a venguful day, as satan is full of vengeance after cast down to earth... as he knows he only has a short time to live.. which relates to judgement towards him by God "faith and mercy gone astray".. he lost his faith, God didn't give mercy... you know satan wouldn't repent, so he really deserves this...
another line.. Revelation chapter 11... kingdoms of the world to be destroyed (they even faught back)
The day of wrath
Banish all kings from the face of the land
Dominion for strength is my
name (do you know this NAME??? find King James version of the Bible and go to Psalms 83:18)
FINAL LINES... Revelation 21:4... the real PLAN of God... to rule over paradise on earth... for God did'nt have this after the gates of paradise were closed to the time satan was cast to the earth... it was satan ruling over earth...
Looking out on a blue sky
I can see a new world arising
Like a prisoner unbound
I feel the power and the majesty
again
Looking up to the heavens
I can see what I left behind
Beneath the stars, moon and
warm sun
And all I know,
is my paradise has begun...
this could also have a double meaning... after satan was cast to the earth, "satan's paradise" is now, well, earth... which he can finally rule by himself... based on the last paragraph..
just an input...
