These lyrics just relate, for me I think its about letting go of a past mistake/bad situation and realising your different now, or someone else realising.
Tanlines are mainly about the fusion of those tribal like drums and beats and pop melodies, and this song works so well. The repitition, the build up. The ending is great, sometimes I think it sounds like 'Barcelona', but doubt it is.
