In one of their concerts, before Tegan started singing, she said like why she wrote it.
this is what she said :
Tegan : “ This next song uhm I wrote about like that thing that you do when you think that maybe someone likes somebody else and you like them and so you really wish they didn’t like someone else at the same time you liked them and uhm and then like maybe let’s say like sometimes like it gets so crazy thats you get out of the car and you are crying and then you run and you lay on the side walk and uhm the persons like ‘wtf?’ and then uhm and then you’re really embarrased for days and then you wright a song about it. ” <3
