-This is during the relationship. When your young and you first have that thrilled uncertainty. You think of all these things like, do they really love me, do I really love them and you are always so anxious to talk to them again. Hence the 'dread the wait for, stupid calls returning us to life' the worst part of the calls is waiting, and we are returned to life once the call comes in, were relieved.

That's the feeling i get from the song when I listen to it.
