For me, the death mentioned (or "tiny deaths") is figurative of the sufferings related to death (e.g. asfixiation). It is like if they mixed up the physical events of a masochist sex with the imaginations and sensations relating to it. Brilliant. Although it is dark, it has a beautiful melody, impossible not to get caught.
