You guys are ALL in for a wake up call. This is my favorite song she's ever done, no doubt. It's extremely deep, and she's practically screaming out who it's about, and only a couple of you got it =)
I've said this about all of her other songs from the album Speak Now. If you have the CD, you've surely noticed she capitolizes random letters. I thought it was for design, until I saw this CD. I thought 'What if these letters mean something?' And Taylor Swift just got even more creative and deep.=)
This song only had 4 letters capitolized. 'ADAM'. Duh. It's about Someone she was enchanted to meet, but never quite got to know. Adam Young.
They only met for a brief time. Rumor has it they E-mailed before they met- 'The playful conversation starts, counter all your quick remarks. Like PASSING NOTES IN SECRECY' Also, that he E-mailed her afterwards something like 'Sorry I was so quiet. I was wonderstruck meeting you' So, she incorperated that into her song. It's a sweet story, really.
'This is me praying that this is the very first page, not where the story ends' She met him for the first time, and she hopes it won't be the last, too.
'These are the words I held back, as I was leaving too soon... Please don't be in love with someone else. Please don't have somebody waiting on you.' She didn't tell him while he was there that she liked him, or even ask if he was single. And now she's dying to know, 'wishing he were at her door'. She wants him, and hopes it isn't too late.
This is the sweetest song, I could go on and on. Their my 2 favorite singers, and their so cute together! Adam+Taylor=<333

totally agree!! it's my favorite song from hers too... i just love it! it's constantly on repeat. she's more creative than people give her credit for though, that's for sure!

i agree.iv only heard the cover adam did of this song for her.there so great tgether,if they are.their both dedicated to god and music,and their both great singers[mostly adam.sorry guys]but i think a christain indie pop guy would really mingle well with a country christian girl.because of this change,we allno anything can be possible with god and ourselves.for those of you who havent heard adams version,its amazing.i havent heard this one honestly,but plan to.reply to this or my comment. ;}
