I think this is about the girls who tell themselves that real love isn't like a fairytale. It's about the ones who settle for someone who isn't "the one", because they'd prefer that over being alone. She's saying they shouldn't do that because true love IS like the movies, and soulmates exist, and "the one" is out there, somewhere, waiting for you. So I think the song is actually saying love is not like the movies ... it is actually more than what they show (as most movies only show superficial things). Love is felt inside ... not on the outside (as movies have to portray it for our entertainment). Do we know what love is anymore?? Or does it need to marry up with a movie to fit??
