I can't accept that this is completely straightforward. Surely Epica isn't anti-technology or against the pursuits of scientific knowledge. That'd be a bit hypocritical. I think it's more a plea for temperance in the pursuit of advanced technology, lest we create something dangerous before we understand how to control it.
