I agree with you but not fully. I don't think this song has anything to do with society (I'm not sure why). I'm not sure but a lot of Red's song seem to be talking about an inner conflict with your human nature and the part of you that doesn't want any part of "sin" in this case. I'm not sure if that's just me or not. And the meaning of the end is saying that in the end, if you're Christian (or someone whom believes in Christ--since anyone can say that they're Christian) then Jesus will help you prevail...
