Ha! I always thought this song was about a stripper/prostitute!!! "love this place, the lights. Under this face so dry." meaning to me that she's selling something (her body, erotic entertainment, whatever) that she doesn't truly feel. Like smiling and acting turned on but feels disgusted with herself and even the man on the inside. Plus the line "only way to change, give yourself away. Don't be ashamed next in line." is pretty hilarious from the whole hooker point of view! "If these days I'm breathin' stone, cryin' stone. I'll win this race, I'll leave alone. Arrive alone." pretty much sounds like a very hopeless drug reference. Which is no stranger to the stripper/prostitute world. I dunno though
