i think it could be about defying God. that's a huge maybe though. he could be saying how he's done bad shit all his life that God would ultimately "look down upon".
looking at it the "How I'd kill to be clean" piece, it could be how he wants God on his side. maybe. like, he'd kill for God to be able to say "He's a good one", but he's contradicting it by saying "Holy Mud." so. to an extent, he's probably thinking God needs to chill and live a little, maybe like Ryan does.
