First I'd like to point out that I believe there is an error in the first verse listed here. Instead of "Have you ever seen a bird in the sky" it should be "Have you ever seen a burning sky".

I don't know for sure what this song is about but given that this is a Christian band I think a case can be made that this song is about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

The first verse could be referring to the account of the two angels (as men) sent by God who led Lot and his family safely out of Sodom because God was going to destroy it by raining down burning sulfur.

The second verse could just be another reference to the burning sulfur.

The third verse starts with "Say your prayers and don't look book" which could be referring to the angels instructing Lot and his family to flee and not to stop or look back.

Verse five could be referring to the angels which presumably have supernatural powers.

The only part that doesn't quite add up is the "We kill at twilight" part. While the angels did arrive in Sodom in the evening (twilight perhaps) I believe the actual destruction took place in the morning since Genesis 19 implies that the LORD began raining down sulfur only after Lot reached Zoar (where he was fleeing) and the sun had risen over the land.

Just my two cents.
