I'd Rather Be Alone

I thought he was talking about a clingy whore. At first the "let me be so i can feel alive again" shows the clingy the second verse shows his want to escape and he wants her to give him some hope but then the chorus sounds like she pushed herself upon him and says she misses him, then the next verse he talks about her lying which could be a range of things but cheating was what i thought of and then he tries to talk himself into making it work but ends up giving up on hope. Final line insinuates that she was just some random girl aka "anyone" imo. probably not close but meh!
