"Sunday morning I wake up" --- you can hear the beauty and innocence of this section of the song, it sounds like someone connected to God in its simplicity. Then when it gets to the chorus, and the distortion and psychedelia start to kick in, you can hear the simplicity get corrupted. I heard different lyrics for the chorus. I might go back and try to pick them out later but I'm currently without headphones. What I heard was, "a lip, a deception," which made me feel that in the distortion, they had lost whatever innocence they started with in the first verse and been taken over.
I want to find my way back to the feeling of the beginning.
