She's always pushing harder and trying hard, but in her dreams the other side of the fence is so much better. She thinks about "lightening up" raising her Dixie cup high to whatever anthem is the song of happy people, but she can't "run her ship aground." Instead of keeping her head down and out of the way like everyone else, she has to keep being tough.
