This song is awesome, if you're a 3eb fan and haven't heard it check it out it's a really good "underground" song by them. I think this song's obviously about a girl, and he doesn't know if he should be with her. He was selfish and wanted to "live it up" while still having her, kind of like a best of both world's thing. And I think he's at the point where he's reflecting wondering if they both truly got what they wanted. Should he REALLY have lived it up? Or should he have stuck with her, he always wanted her around but was too busy doing his own thing and now questions the position where he's at. "Maybe it's not too late to change my mind" about his situation, maybe she'll be with him. But he just doesn't know, and she'll never know he always wanted her around. It's almost like a situation where two people like each other but one declines due to personal reasons, and by the time he's finally ready for her she's gone, and he "just doesn't know".
