i honestly believe this is about a strained relationship with a girl, perhaps with a (depressed/suicidal?) girl who has let her condition get in the way of their relationship. And in the end, he decides to end all this bullshit and make himself happy, even if that means cutting this girl off.

"She's blue in the face again, paracetamol, sleep the darkness all away" a method the girl uses to drown her sorrow, unhealthily.

"And drinking kitchen paint to dye the winter I hope we'll never see again" kitchen paint can be alcohol to make sure the winter, as we all know is the most depressing season of the year, is not as depressing as last time.

"Deaf and dumb with the lights on" they or she chooses to be ignorant of the status of their relationship, even when it is clear as day.

"Married by signs" he feels as though it's his obligation to stick with her through these obvious signs of her depression.

"A personal holloway, six months linen, it's safe to say we are alone" even though he's in a relationship he feels as though he's living in Holloway Prison, alone as ever.

"Move a little way forward, move a little way now" here the singer makes a little progress and shows the audience that he's thinking of something in his mind.

"Bleed life, breathe life" he is suggesting that maybe letting the relationship die is the best way to make himself feel alive again.

"Could it be a better plan" but here we see that the singer can't go through with the plan. he is only stuck contemplating doing what is best for himself.
