This song is about the pressures of being christian(saved) especially when youre young (adolescent).
I mean for me myself when I was saved, there were too much of the 'joyous' things going on around me; that I could not do, cos I believe will burn in the hell fires if I do enjoy myself too much. these 'joyous' things I'm talking about was meeting a going out with a lot of girls (love), having sex (bliss) going to clubs and dancing (enjoying). Im only talking about these non-meterial things for now, not money, fame etc for now, but It comes to the same conclusion.
Well I decided to follow my heart, I earnestly asked God for answers to the contradictory questions, even though 'you cannot ask god why these things are wrong'. and I found me an answer that has bring me a lot of joy till today; and it's God that showed me. It's enough to say I am not 'saved' anymore in the way the christians mean it.
