I think hes talking about how his drug use doesnt really affect his life because hes been doing it for years and things only get better for him despite his habbits. Hes saying how everybody is tellin him to quit with the drugs but he doesnt care because he has a lot going for him anyway and if u dont like it dont play the song lol
the whole album is about his drug addictions and the dark parts of his life. he isn't proud of it and if you see what has happened recently in his life and what the whole story of the MOTM2 album is speaking of is overcoming his addictions.

Definitely agree with shineondono. The song's about how he only feels good when he's high. Early in the song he thinks that just shows how drugs are great because they make him feel good. But then he realizes the only reason he feels like shit when he's sober is because of his addiction.

He says "Please don't play this song" because he doesn't want you to see his depressed side. He wants to put on a false front and let everyone think he's happy.

It's not a song against drugs. It's just saying you gotta use in moderation....
It's not a song against drugs. It's just saying you gotta use in moderation. Like he says in Scott Mescudi Vs. The World, you gotta be "Gentle with the drugs. Heavy with the love."
