It's really easier than you guys are not realizing: It's about a girl who is in love with a boy, but doesn't know how to approach him. She keeps seeing him from a distance, she keeps bumping into him accidentally, she wants him to acknowledge her and she wants to know him. The line "I'm practicing your name so I can say it to your face" shows that no matter how many times she reminds herself of his name, when she looks at him, she freezes up. And she even feels uneasy looking at him, which is clearly seen in the line "It doesn't seem right, to look you in the eye." She wants to tell him about how in love she is with him, but she doesn't know how to approach. I'm sure there are many who have had this problem, be it approaching a beautiful girl/handsome man you've seen in a public place, or approaching your high school crush back when you were in high school.

That's basically what the song is, a girl who is in love with a boy, but can find the courage to approach him, or when she does, she keeps fumbling her attempts to do so. It's not about sex, a one night stand or anything else. It's about the difficulties of trying to approach someone you've fallen in love with.

Yeah, I agree! Good interpretation. Nothing too complex, but very real feelings that most people could probably relate to at some time or other. Great song.
