I've listened to this song over 450 times according to iTunes. More, I'm sure, from burnt CDs and whatnot. I think wvmtneer (besides a horrible choice in university ;)) was exactly right. It's about a guy who loses the girl he's with because he thought there was something he was missing, something he thinks he knows but in fact isn't even real.
