I think it's about a woman, who just doesn't feel anything anymore. She wanted to be with this guy and then she sleeps with him and then there isn't anything more. She tries to keep up the charade the it doesn't bother her to just have meaningless sex with him and then in the process of trying to convince him, she convinces herself.
