This song really is one of the best I've heard by Seether. I can agree with the other interpretations up there. As far as some saying its about love and others saying it's about addiction...what's so different from the two? Some love, even if others won't admit it, is more obsession than love. There's a fine line between the two, in my opinion. When you're addicted to a drug, it's very similar to feeling in love. Maybe this is nonsense to some of you...but it makes sense to me.

Whatever wedge is driven in between them, the singer acknowledges and realizes things won't work, but still wants to be close to her regardless, out of addiction to her presence.
