I love this song! It is so catchy and her voice is so powerful. This song is about a woman who is feeling unappreciated "You've been taking me for granted, you." She wants the man she is in a relationship with to step up and take things more serious. She wants his love and his devotion, but he probably isn't FULLY loving her the way she deserves to be loved. The solution to this issue is for him to just consistently show that he really cares for her by doing small things. For example, taking her out to dinner more, getting her gifts, giving her sicere compliments, showing respect when she has something to say ("A little less talk, a little more do.") By this she means instead of him always being the one to talk he should actually take the action of listening sometimes, AND also take action doing these small simple things that will pay off.
