i had a slightly different interpretation.
Caleb is going out with this girl, he sees her cheating when she "crawls out his pickup truck" (not sure if they're the right lyrics...)
Then Caleb beats the crap outta him, but he was only "thinking of her", which to me says he still cares about her after she cheats on him.
This is exactly what I thought of at first, but now I think that this girl has an abusive boyfriend, or one that is just not good to her, and Caleb thinks she could do so much better so he beats him up. Both interpretations definitely make sense though.
