Did any of you guys notice that many of the lyrics in this ablum that end a song, begin the next? For Karma it is,"Shipwrecked bones carry my seasick heart home". Where as Home Is For The Heartless starts with,"IF home is where the heart is, the why do I feel so fucking Heartless?". The same goes for Hollow where he states the he is "Seeking the guidance gained from silence" and Leviathan I starts by saying that "But there is no silence". Just one of the many reasons I love this album.
I believe this song is basically saying that the town he grew up in Bryon Bay, is no longer the town he knew and loved when he was growing up.
This is not fact, just what I think.

I live an hour away from that town. I was told it used to be such a relaxed town, but now is slowly becoming over run with tourist, which has destroyed Byron.
This has made locals move out of town and move else were.
^this is true thought^

Yep, it's a "concept album" in a sense - it's a story told from beginning to end in a poetic form. This is one is a bit more obvious than most concept albums because of the relation the lyrics have to the song that comes before and/or after.
