ok not to demean any other comments but no one's hit what this song is about. This one and when they come for me are about giving up their old sound for this new idea. Its very different but if you contrast it to when they come for me you see that while that song is slapping fans who want the old style back this one is promoting the idea that while it was fun they just aren't that band anymore. They tried on the last album and were 'holding onto what they haven't got.' the fire's gone so they're moving on.
I will forever want the Hybrid Thoery and Meteora LP back. I didn't really like MTM all that much (a couple songs were good) but A Thousand Suns is much better than MTM. This is a shit ton similar to the old LP. I think its a big step in the right direction.
