I don't know about anyone else, but to me the message in this song sounds like Ed's sick of everyone talking about Crossfades Album Falling Away and how he sings about emotions and such compared to their self titled album.

The hate is from fans / critics alike who dislike the album because he sings about whats happened to him from relationships, etc.
The "bleed" is the fact that we all have hard times
So let it go, give it up because you know that you too have rough times and feel down and that its stupid to think that someone singing about it is a "sissy" (whatever you've decided to call him at times lol)
