I don't think this song is about vampyres, I think it's about trying to please people and then there's always someone who remains unimpressed. Like "Never was a girl with a wicked mind" could refer to all those people saying that she's changed and she's not being the real her, but she really is being herself "Everything looks better, when the sun goes down"
"I had everything, opportunities for eternity." Maybe talking about how she might have been told that starting a band when she had a good acting career was 'foolish'. "And I could belong to the night" Maybe she's saying that by not going off on her own and getting away from the people who want to control her image would be like surrendering to the 'dark side/night'.
"Your eyes, your eyes, i can see in your eyes, your eyes - You make me wanna die" People who don't believe in her, and don't think she can be good enough to make something out of herself and her band and she can see it in their eyes."I'll never be good enough" Covered that in the last bit there :P They don't think she's good enough to become a singer (or something along those lines). "Everything you love will burn up in the light" I think this line means something like she's going to show them that she can do it, and that perfect image they made of her (which they might have "loved" in a sense) will "burn up in the light".
"Taste me, drink my soul, show me all the things that I shouldn't know. And there's a new moon on the rise" This part is harder to figure out, seeing as the lyrics are probably very personal to Taylor, but I think maybe it means something like entering her new world and learning new things about herself. The new moon is supposedly a time of new beginnings, so I think that make sense. Like she's talking about a new life, and a new beginning.
"I would die for you my love, my love. I would lie for you, my love, my love. I would steal for you, my love my love. I would die for you my loe, my love...will burn up in the light" Seeing as she added on the "will burn up in the light" To the end of my love, I think she's talking about moving on from her old life and the old her.
Idk, hope this made sense to anyone besides me, lol :)
