Whoever transcribed this song.... wow way to miss its whole point. Its "Particle-wave duality," not "Part of its duality." This song is about not being equipped to answer big questions or even understand ourselves in the face of an unknowable universe ("How can we ever evolve if our gods are so primitive?")

Of course, somebody reading this site might never pick up on that because you missed the whole quantum physics connection. And this site is supposed to help you find Song Meanings? Seriously, I can't facepalm hard enough over that error.

My Interpretation

@tgwitty I'm pretty positive it's particle-wave duality because it makes the most sense. He sings about how everything is "half apart" or just like particle-wave duality exhibits both wave and particle are both exhibited in elementary particles. As Einstein said: "It seems as though we must use sometimes the one theory and sometimes the other, while at times we may use either. We are faced with a new kind of difficulty. We have two contradictory pictures of reality; separately neither of them fully explains the phenomena of light, but together they do". Kevin Barnes is clearly conflicted in his emotional...

@tgwitty lol I misread what you typed and thought you said it WAS part of its duality. I can't delete so just forget what I typed
