To me, it's like they're saying that they see how big they're getting, they see all the people following them...and it's crazy and scary, but amazing at the same time. And it's like they're promising that they'll always remember where they came from - since this was a song they were working on from before they were popular (at least in the US).
You can't get away from where you came from - it's who you are, it's shaped you to be the person you always will be.
