a few of these lyrics are wrong...
"There was a time, it took time (all the while)" should be: "There was a time, it took time (Impossible)"
"All the kids on the waterfront try to raise their hands" should be: "All the kids on the waterfront shyly raise their hands"
"Not asking for your permission, please understand" should be: "Done asking for your permission, please understand"
so it should be as PassiveTheory said. (coming directly from the Grizzly Bear website)
That being said, this is an amazing song.
