is it just me, or does this song remind you of Ryan Ross? (Ex-Panic at the disco lyrisist, singer, guitarist, etc) But really, this song seems to be about him, (and their friendship)
For example, in the first few lines,

it seems to refer to his childhood, where he had a drunken father.
in all these lines, they refer to Ryan. Even in some, (now this may be a long shot) that may seem to be about drugs..maybe they're metaphors.
