Such a good song! I first heard it on Pretty Little Liars and loved it immediately. I have two interpretations of this song:
1) At first, I thought it was about realizing that you have to go back to your past sometimes and "dig up" things you loved that you gave up on for some reason or another. She can't stop thinking about whatever it is in her past that she wants to revitalize and she's asking someone (could be her significant other, but doesn't have to be) to support her and help her along this journey.
2) Then I looked at it from a different perspective and realized that it could be about restoring the passion that once existed in a relationship. "Passions that I lay to rest may still have some life in them." The lines "Well that's one thing that's still the same" and "Tell me that's one thing that hasn't changed" indicate that overall, things have certainly changed between them after being together for a while. She doesn't want to give up on the relationship and realizes that she's not okay and wants the old spark back, encouraging her partner to believe and help her find it again.
