Both of you are right,this song is about a lost love after a lot of tryouts. Every time I listen to this song I close my eyes and remember my ex girlfriend (my old flame hehehe) and feel kind of sad since I broke her heart lots of times and every time we tried out,the flame between us was extinguing more and more. I feel as if she was telling those words to me... I'm so sorry for that :,(
