When I look at the chorus it seems to be talking about how people find songs so invigorating but really the human essence is immortal and you've got the power within yourself to keep pressing on whereas he's just making music up there and he can't pick you up for you, you have to do that yourself. And the verses seem to relate same sorta thing like he is trying to help by making invigorating songs but music can only chase away your demons but it's you who has to actually stand against them. Like you can listen to touching songs but unless you choose to let them motivate you that's all they are going to be is songs. But that's just kinda my take on it. Hope it kinda makes sense haha.
