I think it's about a girl with an eating disorder. anorexia nervosa to be exact.
"the deeper you get, the farther you fall down"- the deeper you get into an eating disorder, the harder you fall, the more you push others away, the more you distance yourself from everyone. also explains "the closer i get, the more you dissolve."
"You're lost inside, You're pale and rib shows"- she does'nt know who she is, she's pale and she looks dead from the lack of nourishment, and her ribs are showing.
"I'll bury you, With the demons and the ash."- this is saying that she is going to die soon, and she'll be buried with the demons that told her that she was never good enough, never pretty enough, and never thin enough.
"you were the one who made the decision, stuck in a prison, shattered and broken...[etc]"
he is saying that she made the decision to have this disorder, and now she's stuck, and when you have an eating disorder it does feel like you're trapped in a prison, and you are broken. you've completely lost who you are.
he was expecting to be able to help her, and save her, but all she did was push him away. so now he's fed up, and she can just go save herself.
"taught to perish, and fade away, become the haunted, and die as slaves"
you teach yourself to starve, you want to fade away and become nothing, become invisible. you're haunted by the demons, and you die as a slave to this eating disorder because it completely takes over your life,it controls every thought, and every aspect of your life.
